DevOps Software Developer

Salary: $60-70/hr
Location: Pensacola, FL
Clearance: Secret

 

We are looking for a Secret Cleared DevOps Software Developer to support task/process automation and the development of software enhancements for an existing classified system.

 

Qualifications:

  • Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field.
  • Desired Certifications: DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II – CSSLP – Certifications related to Agile development and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe Practitioner (SP) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have an active Secret clearance and able to obtain TS/SCI clearance
  • Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability prior to starting employment
  • Must have 8+ years of directly relevant experience.
  • Solid foundation in Object Oriented Programming (Java, C#/.NET, etc) and comprehensive unit testing experience
  • Experience and/or familiarity with one of more: Version Control (Git/SVN), Dependency Management (Ivy/Ant/Maven), Unit Testing/Documentation (JUnit, JavaDoc, LaTex), Static Code Analysis
  • Demonstrated experience and/or familiarity with one of more of the following database technologies: Relational (MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL), JBDC/ORM
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must exhibit time management skills and self-motivation

 

Desired Skills:

  • Experience/Proficiency in C#/.Net and/or Spring Boot
  • Experience and/or familiarity with Agile development methodology
  • Experience and/or familiarity with CI/CD (Jenkins, Bamboo, Hudson), Issue Tracking/Project Management Tools (JIRA, Redmine), Containerization (Docker)
  • Experience with task/process automation
  • Experience with REST Microservice development

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating within Agile Scrum teams as a key contributor responsible for the design and implementation of advanced cybersecurity capabilities, including the selection of hardware and software and the design of infrastructure services required to enable the cybersecurity capabilities.
  • Create intuitive interfaces and interaction layers using industry best practices, latest web trends/technologies and associated tools
  • Developing and performing automated builds, testing, and deployments
  • Developing high quality technical documentation, as needed, including user guides, test plans, and contract deliverable items and supporting product training.
